Hey folks, if you’re in the Kansas City Metro area tomorrow (Sunday 8/7), I’d highly recommend going to check out the Peoples Liberation Big Band of Greater Kansas City at the Record Bar in Westport. The show starts at 8pm, but get there plenty early – probably 7ish – to make sure you can grab a table. Brad Cox and company will be celebrating the 3rd Anniversary of Jeff Harshbarger’s Record Bar Jazz Series. My best guess is that cover will be around 5 bones or so – which is a deal for a group of this quality. Be there or be totally square.
