Outside-Inside-Out

Hey everybody, NPR will have live streaming of a set by Joe Lovano’s killer group Us Five from the Vanguard tonight.  The link is here.  And if you miss it or forget, NPR will have it archived.  Probably tunes from the group’s new album, which twists up Bird’s famous compositions.  “Donna Lee” gets an especially modified treatment – hard to hear the tune in places.
